] Gentlemen... I received a copy of your excellent publication at my office a few days ago. I am the manager of the Edwards Jones office at 600 South Grand Avenue West in Springfield IL 62704. I have already used this book more than any of the others that have accumulated over the years. The high quality cover and interior pages make it easy to browse, and the type style and print are significantly more readable than any other phonebook. Thank you for your unsolicited delivery and please tell me how I may obtain (4) additional copies for my staff. My best regards, Don Springer If you respond to this message, please user This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. MITCHELL May 23, 1997 Dear Fairview Heights Businesses, As Mayor of our growing community, I am always interested in projects that can benefit both our residents and business owners. Because of it's small handy size, large white page print and local focus, I feel the Hometown Phone Book is one of those. Two of their representatives came and spoke to myself and other city leaders on Wednesday, May 21. We were impressed with their professionalism and the fact that they were not afraid to meet with us and answer all of our questions. The Hometown Phone Book will be delivered in October to all residents and businesses in Fairview Heights, Belleville, Swansea, and Millstadt. They will be printing and distributing 65,000 copies. The white pages print is much bolder and larger than other books we receive, and it's handy size will make it easier to use, especially when you are looking for a local phone number. Since it will not have phone numbers from Alton to Waterloo, our Fairview Heights businesses will have the opportunity to stand out more in the yellow pages section. We have been informed that ad rates in the hometown phone book are 60% - 70% less than the other companies and rates. The publisher, Eagle Publications is located in Collinsville and the books are printed by Breese Printing from Breese, Illinois so slong along with all its other advantages, your advertising dollars will stay closer to home. Sincerely, BOURBAN RV, INC. February 10, 2006 To Whom It May Concern: We received a telephone call from one of your sales representatives, Michael Carey, regarding a yellow page ad with Hometown Phone Book. Through the presentation given, Mr. Carey showed us the value of out of state advertising because of the wide distribution and popularity of the Hometown Phone Book. Mr. Carey was very professional with his presentation. He suggested that we broaden our advertising into the Illinois yellow pages since our business is in Missouri approximately 75 miles west of St. Louis. He suggested that we list ads in the Belleville, Collinsville, and Monroe County phone books to help increase our sales. We appreciated that he explored options available to us without being pushy. We are very anxious about the affect this may have for us and look forward to more sales across the River. Sincerely, Dear J.R., After our phone conversation earlier this week, I decided to review the contract which I signed with Hometown Phone Book. After doing so, I feel that my company should be reimbursed 100% for the error contained in the most recent Belleville-O'Fallon area directory. I feel this way because the wrong telephone number is listed for my main office location. My main office location is 22 N. Jackson St., and its correct telephone number is 233-1270. The fact that the incorrect number listed is to my branch office has actually made the problem worse. If the incorrect number was to a completely different business or person, then the patient would at least realize they had a wrong number. Now they make an appointment, but show up at the wrong location. Because of a busy schedule, it is normally impossible for them to be examined by the doctor. As a result, they leave mad and may not return. As you know, this is just the opposite of what we're trying to accomplish with the yellow pages. I talked with my staff and am told that this problem is occurring on a regular basis. I had no idea your phone book was this popular. I'm not upset with your company. This is the first time this has happened to me and it probably won't happen again. It's just one of those things that happens. I'd appreciate it if you would discuss this with Tami when she returns from her vacation. I'd like to request a refund of $1,218.00, as the present add is of no benefit and causing much confusion. I thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Advanced Chiropractic Care January 10, 2007 From the Office of Jeffery Williams To Whom It May Concern To give you an overview of my response to my ad program in the Hometown Phonebook, O'Fallon - Belleville edition ---IMMEDIATE. I received calls and a response to my coupon page the day the book was delivered. I have ads referring to the coupon in two places: Chiropractic and Auriculotherapy. Because the growth of my business is based on referrals every new patient I get from the book gets me back 3-5 referrals. SO needless to say it's working. I've tried the other book as well as mailers and my return on my investment doesn't compare to what I get from the Hometown directory. I also like having the same salesperson call on me each year. I'm a very busy doctor and she handles my time dealing with my ads in an effective, efficient manner. Sincerely, AAA Attorneys Fax: (618) 277-4094 *Licensed in Illinois & Missouri July 15, 2004 Re: Hometown Advertising To Whom It May Concern: I've been advertising with the Hometown Phonebook Yellow Pages for a few years now and am extremely pleased wit the results. Last year I placed comparable ads in all three phonebooks with cover our area. I then tracked the response. The results show that I received just as many phone calls from the Hometown ads as I received from each of the other phonebook advertisements. And given how much more expensive the advertisements are in the other phonebooks, I'm definitely getting the most "bang for my buck" with the Hometown Phonebook. I can't recommend the Hometown Phonebook advertising enough. Cordially, Law Offices Of Cory Easton Cory Easton June 29, 2004 Re: Hometown Phone Books To Whom It May Concern: I have been advertising in the Hometown Phone Books since 2001 and I cannot say enough about the results from my ads. I have advertised with SBC and there is no comparison. The savings in advertising costs have been enormous, and the number of calls I have received since signing with Hometown has increased tenfold. The Hometown Phone Book makes 95% of the referrals that I receive. The response is so great that I do not advertise in any other telephone book. I would strongly recommend Hometown to any attorney who wants to increase the number of calls to their office and also increase their bottom line. Sincerely, CE/teb Beverly A. Timmins February 17, 2005 To Whom It May Concern: As a local resident and area consumer, I wanted to drop you a note and share with you how much I use your Hometown Phone Book. The small, convenient size of your book makes it the "book of choice" for me. In fact, witnessing how much I use the phone book copy I keep in my car to look up numbers versus paying exorbitant 411 fees has driven several of my friends to carry their own personal copy of your Hometown Phone book in their vehicles! If I were a business trying to market my message to area consumers, I would certainly ensure my company was prominently advertised in your Hometown Phone Book! Office Open 6 Days A Week 3/7/03 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I just wanted to take the time to let you know that I have been very pleased with the response I received from my advertisement program in the RIVER BEND HOMETOWN PHONE BOOK. We participate in SBC & HTPB with our coupon program. By far we have received a greater response from the HTPB with our coupon usage. We have realized that dollar for dollar the best value is the HOMETOWN PHONE BOOK. We find that more people are using the HOMETOWN PHONEBOOK, because of the handy size and larger print. We would recommend the HOMETOWN PHONE BOOK to any business owner. Sincerely, |
